香港索尼電腦娛樂（SCEH）於官方網站發布，資深董事項明生將從 2013 年 11 月 15 日起辭去所有 SCEH 職務。
項明生自 1998 年起進入 SCEH 任職，累積資歷達 15 年，曾任市場部推廣主任，後獲晉升為總經理，其後被擢升為 SCEH 第一位華人董事。其經手產品囊括 PlayStation、PlayStation 2、PlayStation Portable、PlayStation 3 及 PlayStation Vita。
項明生除了曾帶領 SCEH 團隊經營香港市場並獲得多項獎項之外，個人也受到香港數碼娛樂協會評選為 2009 年 “香港數碼娛樂產業年度人物”，也曾在 2005 及 2006 兩度自「PlayStation 之父」久多良木健頒發 PlayStation 最高榮譽 SCE Award。此外，項明生也在 2002 年創辦每年一度的香港電子遊戲業展覽會「亞洲遊戲展」，可說是在香港遊戲界舉足輕重之人物。
此外，項明生本人也於個人 Facebook 證實該消息，不過尚未透露下一步動向。
