【林佳樺╱綜合報導】2013年度第20屆歐洲MTV音樂獎的頒獎禮日前在荷蘭阿姆斯特丹落幕，李宇春是華人唯一歌手代表，以1億張高票擊敗加拿大偶像「小賈斯汀」賈斯汀畢柏（Justin Bieber）等9位全球強勁對手，摘得「全球最佳藝人獎」！
美國嘻哈巨星阿姆獲得了全球偶像大獎，而李宇春獲得「全球最佳藝人獎」。值得一提，此次頒獎禮的所有獎項都是由大眾投票，李宇春得票高達1億。她在上台以英文答謝粉絲，「Thank you all my fans, thank you all the people who loves Chinese music, enjoy the night, enjoy the music！I love you, thank you very much。」(謝謝所有我的粉絲，謝謝所有喜愛華語音樂的朋友，好好享受今晚和音樂！我愛你們，非常感謝。)
