改編自作家 福井晴敏所撰寫的宇宙世紀鋼彈系列作，OVA《機動戰士鋼彈 UC》episode 7「彩虹的彼方（虹の彼方に）」預定將於明（2014）年 5 月 17 日在日本推出。
目前日本預計將自 5 月 17 日起至 6 月 13 日在全國 35 間戲院上映，全篇包括 90 分鐘的本傳內容，以及 20 分鐘的宇宙世紀 Digest episode EX「百年的孤獨」。屆時也將於電影院中預先販售 episode 7 劇場限定版 BD（定價 11000 日圓，限定 20000 套）。台灣方面的相關資訊也將於日後陸續公開。
