　　SONY 次世代主機 PlayStation 4 剛從 PlayStation 3 那頭接下了「現任主機」這個棒子，在這個世代交替的時刻，SCE 全球工作室（SCE Worldwide Studios）總裁吉田修平，針對自 2006 年至今 7 年之間所發售的遊戲作品，列舉 10 款他個人選出的「本世代最佳作品」。

　　名單來自於 SONY 官方部落格 PlayStation.Blog，除了吉田之外，副總裁史考特．羅德（Scott Rohde）也列出了他個人的 10 款最愛，首先是羅德版的排名。

　　接下來是吉田的前 10 名，其中 From Software 的《惡魔靈魂》和《黑暗靈魂》兩款並列第二，此外，排名第六的《音樂遊記》則是他個人在 PlayStation Vita 上最喜愛的作品。
